Pre-K Fees Can Vary by Family Income
Metro Pre-K classrooms are funded in a number of different ways, including using local and state funding. Each fund source has different requirements, like serving families based on income within Davidson County or charging a fee.
Some Pre-K seats require a fee, which is based on a sliding scale. Depending on a family’s household income and the number of family members in the household, that fee could be anywhere from $0-$144 per child every week. The fee does not include Extended Learning (before or after care).
Pre-K Program Fee Payment
MNPS Pre-K program payments can be made using a check, money order, online or cash. Monthly payment slips are included in the initial fee base letter (families do not need to submit a slip if paying weekly). Please include the slip with each monthly payment.
Payments can made three different ways:
-

-
Payments can be submitted online.
-
Cash payments must be paid in person at the Family Information Center located at the MNPS Board of Education Office, 2601 Bransford Avenue, Nashville TN 37204
