Ready for Kindergarten!

  • 2024-25 Kindergarten Registration opens Monday, January 29, 2024.
  • Kindergarten registration for the 2023-24 school year opened on January 30, 2023. Families can still register for kindergarten for the current 2023-24 school year.

Metro Nashville Public Schools has one of the best kindergarten programs in the nation.

Our kindergarten classrooms are full of rich learning opportunities that will broaden your child’s horizons and prepare him or her for first grade. MNPS is excited to partner with families on taking this big step on a lifelong educational journey.

Please note: Even if your child already attends an MNPS Pre-K program, kindergarten registration is still required.
